Where to Buy Cool Stuff for Your First Pole Fitness Class

What to wear to Pole Class at TeaseWe’re starting a series on the Tease Blog: The Beginners Guide to Tease Dance and Fitness

Whether you’re considering joining a class or have recently started, the Beginners Guide will help you transition into a fun-loving Pole Princess before you know it.

One of the first things you find out when starting a class at Tease is that the clothes are part of the fun. Whether you’re taking a pole fitness class, Burlesque, Aerial hoops, silks or Booty Boot Camp, finding clothes that are both comfortable and fun can be a challenge if you don’t know where to look.

We recently asked our Tease Ambassadors what their favorite pole clothes were and where to find them.

Sexy bras for the curvy girl: Several women agreed Lane Bryant had a great selection of sexy yet well-made bras. Amazon also scored well too.

For the Burlesque girls, Lovers Lane is a great place to get fishnets, fringe skirts, gloves, bustiers and wigs.

If you’ve taken at least one pole fitness class, you’ll know the importance of really good shorts. Our girls had a lot of recommendations:

At lease one instructor swears by Under Armour Studio Lux Shorty. According to her, “They are the best pole shorts EVER and offer a higher waist for either tummy control or just for not mooning friends”

Zweet Sport received rave reviews from pole instructors as did, Artista Activewear,  Onzie,  3wishes,  Lululemon,  and Mika Yoga Wear.

Check out Kup My Kakez shorts on Easy. According to one instructor “Size down; they run big. They have nice coverage and a nice waistband.”

If you’re in the market for sport bras that cover the more sizable ta-ta’s, Mika offers a great selection as does Road Runner Sports

And if you want shirts with attitude, check out sites like spreadshirt.com and lookhuman.com for hilarious and quirky t-shirts
